Because of its unique advantages without water, a gas–solid fluidized bed has wide application potential. The shortage of water resources has become a global problem. The near infrared technology was used to study the pre-concentration of copper ores by identifying mineral components, which is helpful to the recovery of copper ores. What’s more, the preferential sequence breakage by high voltage pulse breakage is proposed, which is helpful to the recovery of copper ores. Zuo conducted the pre-concentration of copper ore by electrical breakage, the copper grade was greatly improved. Hong's pre-concentration test of low-grade copper ores with diaphragm jig can effectively improve the concentration ratio and recovery rate of copper element. Thus, it is important to study the enrichment of copper ores.Īt present, there are few studies on the pre-concentration of copper ores. Before the grinding of copper ore, pre-enrichment decreases the processing amount of grinding and decreases the energy consumption. During copper ore beneficiation, a grinding process is needed, and the grinding process consumes a large amount of energy, , ]. In China's proven copper resources, the average grade is 0.87%. The supply of copper resources in China mainly relies on refined copper imports. The dependence on foreign countries was as high as 70%. In 2015, China's consumption of refined copper was 11 million tons, and the amount of its self-produced copper was only 3.2 million tons. China has a shortage of copper resources. Copper and its alloys have advantages of good electrical and thermal conductivity, strong corrosion resistance, easy processability, and good tensile and fatigue strength they are widely used in electrical industry, national defense industry, computer industry, machinery manufacturing, and other industries. Thus, a gas–solid separation fluidized bed can achieve efficient enrichment of copper.Ĭopper is an indispensable, basic, and strategic material for national economy and defense construction. Under the optimal sorting conditions, the ore grades of −10 mm, 10–20 mm, and 20–30 mm sizes increased to 1.57%, 1.79%, and 2.33%, respectively, and the tailings grade decreased to 0.24%, 0.55%, and 0.30%, respectively. The results show that the fluidized density is in the range of 2.42–2.77 g/cm 3, and the minimum density standard deviation is 0.04 g/cm 3.
The fluidization characteristics and material enrichment principle of high-density ferrosilicon powder were investigated. The results show that more than 80% of copper is distributed at a density of +4.0 g/cm 3, and Pb exists in the pyrite. The characteristics of copper ore, the distribution characteristics of crushing products, copper, and the occurrence characteristics of Pb in copper ore were investigated. In this paper, the separation and enrichment of copper ore using a high-density gas–solid fluidized bed were studied.
A gas–solid separation fluidized bed has potential application in the enrichment of copper ore. During copper ore beneficiation, gangue minerals consume a lot of energy. Copper is a necessary resource for the development of society.
